What should I do if I have questions or concerns about my community solar subscription?

If you're subscribed to a community solar program and have concerns about the volume of credits you're receiving, the savings on your bill: 

  1. Contact your Community Solar Provider: Start by contacting your provider directly. The provider can likely solve common issues instantly, like a billing discrepancy or cancelling your subscription. 

  2. Contact the Office of the Public Advocate (OPA): If you are confused by your bill or are not seeing the advertised savings, contact the OPA. They can help you investigate the issue and may be able to resolve it. You can also find answers to common questions about community solar on the OPA website

  3. File a Complaint with the Public Utilities Commission (PUC): If you have contacted your provider and the OPA, and the issue remains unresolved, you can contact the PUC's Consumer Assistance Division for further assistance.
